Fun House - Playland Years
Under Whitney's flag the attractions name was changed from Bug House to Fun House. Inside provided hours of fun!
The giant Wooden Slide with it's polished hard wood was most peoples highlight, but there was plenty more to see and do.
The Maze entry provided a challenge the first few times. Post the maze, we all had to maneuver through the "Laundry." The Laundry, as we call it, were giant spinning ballooned bags that had to be negotiated before entry. Once you forced your way through the Laundry you had the possibility of being blasted with the floor Air jets. Those air jets seemed to be the most unsuspected places! Once Inside, you had the first floor choices or the Giant Slide, Joy Wheel, Wacky Walkways, Horse racers, Goofy Stairs and Barrel of Fun. Upstairs, Crazy Mirrors, peek-a-boo game boxes and another slide. It all provided hours of fun.
