The intersection of Carbillo@ Great Highway was a Playland HUB. Streetcar turn-around, Playland entrances and food. You couldn't visit Playland without walking through this Intersection. Well.... You could, but would have missed half the park...
Balboa @ Great Highway was actually the original HEART of the entertainment area from 1884 to 1919.
